Autumn Term
To start this first term off, our big question will be: "Who is special to you?" This topic is not only close to our hearts but it’s also an important part of our learning journey as we explore relationships and the concept of belonging.
As we embark on this exciting journey together, we invite your little ones to explore, learn, and grow alongside new friends.
Getting to know each child is essential to fostering meaningful connections, as we believe that family plays a crucial role in a child's development. Our dedicated staff will support each child in discovering their unique strengths.
Through playful interactions and collaborative activities, we aim to build a strong community where children feel at home.
Together, let us nurture friendships and create lasting memories, setting the foundation for a positive and joyful school experience.

Rhiannon Roberts Art Project
The Nursery children had a fantastic time creating this piece of art inspired by the Welsh artist Rhiannon Roberts who is celebrated for her vibrant use of colours and modern twist on familiar scenes. After taking some lovely seasonal walks, including trips to the beach and parks, we gathered lots of ideas. They spotted their homes, 51动漫免费在线观看, the stunning Great Orme.
Miniature Gardens
This term, we embarked on an exciting challenge to design a miniature garden aimed at attracting mini beasts to our playground. It’s been a fantastic hands-on project that got everyone involved! After planting the grass seeds, we've been watering and watching and waiting for them to grow.
To make our gardens even more appealing, we gathered materials, including the pebbles we collected from the beautiful West Shore beach. The children had a great time picking out the perfect stones, which we later painted and decorated to give our gardens a personal touch.
They painted colourful miniature houses and arranged the pebbles creatively to enhance their gardens
Each child created their own unique garden design, showcasing their creativity . It was wonderful to see how each garden became a reflection of its creator, bursting with personality and charm.
The whole experience has not only sparked our imagination but has also helped us learn about the importance of creating environments that are friendly to nature. We can’t wait to see which mini beasts decide to make our gardens their home!

Exploring the World of Minibeasts
We have been developing our understanding of change through the wonderful world of living things! Our minibeast hunt was an absolute thrill! Armed with our tick lists, we’ll ventured into the garden, noting down all the fascinating creatures we encountered. We looked closely at each little marvel using magnifying glasses, and made sure we handled our finds with care, ensuring we respect these tiny inhabitants of our playground.
Discovering Change Through Nature
This week we have listened to the biblical story of creation, which offers a beautiful perspective on change and growth. With this in mind, we ventured outside into the world of gardening.
So, let’s get our hands dirty and watch nature unfold right before our eyes!
First, we planted some grass seeds together. It’s a simple yet fascinating process, and it teaches us about nurturing life. We must remember to care for our seeds, so we will be watering them regularly!
As we do this, we will witness the magic of nature as the seeds begin to sprout and grow.
But that’s not all! When the grass grows tall enough we will create mini gardens for the minibeasts. These little habitats will not only enhance our understanding of ecosystems but also provide a home for the tiny creatures we often overlook.
We have been out and about on our seasonal learning walks. We noticed the change in weather, temperature and how the trees and the grass had changed.
